# Lappy v0.0.6

Time & Date no longer shows idle RTC UNKNOWN or RTC READY text. Unset time still reads Not set, the user can set date/time and choose 12/24-hour display, and a real write failure still shows RTC SAVE FAILED.

The shared firmware/simulator UI is changed together. The firmware CMake setup now tracks VERSION changes so incremental builds refresh application metadata. Regression assertions cover both unset and configured calendars and retain the save-failure path. The current design handoff uses the cleaned settings screens.

TRACK_ENGINE_PLAN.md defines the proposed first Track engine, including both closed circuits and point-to-point courses, custom named recorded routes, finite directional gates, up to three sectors, valid PBs and live delta against a recorded reference. Track timing is still disabled in this firmware; the definition is planning work, not an implemented timing engine.

Seven Drag tests, manual calendar behavior, English-only UI and manual PWR save-and-shutdown retain their existing behavior. Earlier versioned release archives are preserved.
