# Lappy v0.0.7

Track mode adopts the owner's Track Engine Design HTML: 24 device artboards covering Timing states, Map, Session and the Courses → Course → New Course/Name → Record → Gates → Width/direction → Splits → Validate setup flow. The HTML and its interaction map are retained unchanged under design/reference.

The implementation is isolated in main/track_ui.cpp. Street, Drag and general Settings keep their view functions, fonts, controls and behavior. Their 46 existing screen states are compared with v0.0.6, with only the Settings home version string masked after the version bump. BOOT and manual PWR behavior remain unchanged.

Track uses the specified hero/support geometry, green/red delta panels, signed comparisons, 15 px Session rows, course chips and explicit setup controls. Track-only tabular-digit fonts match the design's numeric spacing. Existing fonts are unchanged. The name editor resolves the template into real character cells, bounded to 12 English characters; wide glyphs receive their natural cell width. Native vectors draw missing check/arrow symbols. Long P2P sectors may paint 4 px into the existing column gap, matching HTML overflow while keeping all column anchors and 15 px type.

The simulator adds all ten new driving-state scenarios alongside faster/slower. Course selection, arm/disarm/rearm, type/name editing, recording markers, gate cursor/width/direction, zero/one/two splits and draft validation are interactive previews. Swipes cannot escape setup. Course chips are inert while armed/running. SAVE REV changes an in-memory preview revision only and cannot claim persistence without simulated SD.

This is a UI-only Track release. Lap/run timing, PBs, reference delta, course packs, GPS reconnaissance and durable Track course/session storage remain unimplemented. Desktop Track values and map traces are labelled DEMO fixtures. Hardware stays CONCEPT with unavailable timing; it cannot arm a fake timer or save a fake course. The seven-test Drag engine is unchanged.

Validation includes native pointer/BOOT/state/setup regressions, text-width checks across Track renders, all existing core/Drag/calendar/capture tests, ESP32-S3 V1/V2 builds, visual comparison with the owner's artboards and native app interaction. Physical hardware remains pending. Previous versioned archives remain unchanged.
