# Lappy v0.4.1

Automatically requests 25 Hz GPS from a positively identified Dragy Pro (DRG71) after every connection and stream repair.

The October 28 live test established that the receiver initially supplied 100 ms NAV-PVT epochs (10 Hz). A documented UBX-CFG-VALSET request through FD01 changes CFG-RATE-MEAS to 40 ms. The receiver acknowledged and read back the setting, and Lappy handled the actual 25 Hz stream without downsampling. A backup configuration save alone did not reliably retain 25 Hz through later reconnections, so Lappy reapplies the setting per connection.

- Read the Device Information model asynchronously and configure only DRG71 receivers with a writable FD01 channel. Other or unknown models retain their supplied rate.
- Send one RAM-only rate request per successful connection/setup. No flash, constellation, navigation ratio, clock or receiver firmware changes.
- Confirm success from fresh 40 ms GPS timestamp intervals, rather than assuming an acknowledged BLE write changed the receiver. The displayed rate remains measured.
- Model reads and writes have deadlines and session tokens. Missing capabilities, errors, timeouts or late callbacks keep the existing stream and do not force a reconnect. Optional battery polling follows rate setup.
- All v0.4.0 recovery, result journaling and shutdown protections remain unchanged, as do Track/Drag timing and quality thresholds.

The receiver has no physical on/off button. Verification uses configuration readback and actual BLE reconnections; a full receiver power-cycle test has not been performed. See the matching hardware report for measured device checks.
