# Lappy v0.5.1

Lappy Race now uses white decorative accents throughout the shared Settings, pairing, time/date, diagnostics and Track course/setup/recording/editor screens. Selected theme borders, buttons, labels, edit cursors and map markers follow the selected instrument theme. Switching back to Lappy Classic restores its original amber accents.

Race's yellow cautions, red faults and green/red timing deltas retain their semantic colors. No layout, typography, input, timing, storage or preference schema changes are introduced. The independent Clock face and existing companion artwork retain their previous styling and behavior.

The accent is selected before each shared-body render. Track invalidates its retained shape/header palette cache on a theme change so old colors cannot persist after switching themes.

Validation uses the existing native interaction, retained-performance and 215-state Race UI checks, plus native-size framebuffer inspection for orange pixels and comparison of all Classic captures to the protected baseline. Firmware and updater integrity checks use the separate V2 build. Existing v0.5.0 and v0.4.3 archives remain untouched. No device is flashed by this work; physical display/touch and BLE/SD coexistence acceptance remain outstanding.
