Pick up where you left off.

Keep your original backup. Recovery checks the same Lappy, a recognized pre-update image and the exact package you were installing.

Recover an interrupted web update

  1. Reconnect the same Lappy with a USB data cable.
  2. Open the updater and choose Recover update. Select the original session directory inside your Lappy backup folder.
  3. Reconnect when prompted. The saved backup and exact target are reauthenticated before retrying.
  4. Choose Update Lappy only when the verified backup and target version appear.

If no matching backup is available

The routine updater refuses a damaged or unknown application without a recognized original backup. Keep your files and use the owner-assisted USB recovery process. Do not erase the full chip or replace the partition table.
